Osun State Lawmaker Supports Cocoa Farmers with 20,000 Seedlings

Chief Whip of the Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. Babatunde Olatunji, has distributed no fewer than 20,000 hybrid cocoa seedlings to farmers in Ife-North State Constituency.

The initiative tagged: “Ife-North Cocoa Revolution”, saw the distribution of free seedlings to the beneficiaries at Ipetumodu, the headquarters of Ife North Local Government.

Olatunji noted that the initiative was aimed at resuscitating the cocoa plantations in that area, as he plans to inject 100,000 cocoa trees to that effect…Read more here
